Well the weather isn’t like this very often and definitely never for the whole weekend !
We made the most of it with the 12 mile journey out to the Aeolian Sky with slightly snotty visibility followed by a Lulworth Banks drift Matt and Frankie very kindly volunteered to skipper/deckie for us which was very much appreciated.
On Sunday we managed to dive the Alex Van Opstal which we’d not done before and is definitely worthy of another visit. Our first wave of divers used one of the local hardboat’s shot line as he wasn’t convinced ours was on the wreck. We were a bit suprised to find ourselves on the seabed but thankfully found the wreck after a 5 minute swim around ! Our second wave dived our shot which was of course on the other end of the wreck ! We finished the day off with a drift dives where we spotted four different Thornback Rays and a dover sole. What a glorious weekend !
